With 30 years of experience in education and 4+ years coaching CrossFit across various age groups, I have dedicated my life to helping others grow, learn, and become the best versions of themselves. Whether in the classroom or the gym, I am passionate about motivating and supporting people as they build confidence, develop discipline, and achieve their goals. I believe that improvement is a lifelong journey, and I take great pride in encouraging others to push beyond their perceived limits and realize their full potential. 

 

Since I first became involved with CrossFit 12 years ago, I have enjoyed becoming a power lifting enthusiast with a recent one rep deadlift of 325 pounds. Through my own personal journey with fitness, I have learned how being strong and independent can offer so many more daily benefits than one may realize for people of all ages.

 

At Iron Jungle CrossFit, you can currently find me coaching the Longevity program for adults ages 45 and above three days a week. This class helps individuals build strength, mobility, confidence, independence, and long-term health through functional fitness. In addition to group coaching, I provide one on one personal training and teach the fundamentals of CrossFit to new incoming members. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where athletes of all experience levels feel welcomed, valued, and capable of success. I believe that progress looks different for everyone, so I focus on meeting individuals where they are and help them improve at their own pace. 

 

Whether working with new CrossFit members, personal training clients, or adults in the Longevity program, I emphasize proper technique, patience, consistency, and positive encouragement. My goal is to provide an environment where my clients challenge themselves while knowing they have guidance, support, and someone that truly believes in their ability to improve both physically and mentally.
